Jesus, the church, Paul, letters to churches, Revelation – the New Testament is full of important and valuable lessons that we as Christians need to know. In this class, we will look at an overview of the New Testament, its stories and characters.  The end goal is that you will have a fuller understanding of the key truths, concepts, and values of the New Testament, as well as how they impact your daily life as a follower of Jesus.

7:00pm
Teachers:  Jeff Lang, Alex Van Wyk
Room:  WC119
Book Cost:  $10

Have you encountered friends, family, and co-workers who question how the ancient Christian faith makes sense in these modern times?  Is it arrogant for Christians to declare there is only “one way to God”?  Can we really claim to know “absolute truth” in a confused, chaotic, and divided world?  How can believers get past accusations of being “narrow-minded and intolerant”?  Join us on Wednesday nights and discover a blueprint by John MacArthur for effectively communicating the truth that never changes, even in changing times.

7:00pm
Teachers:  Leah Fry, Sheila Kelly
Room:  WC120
Book Cost: $15

The book of Proverbs teaches us that the path of godly wisdom leads to life – and not just surviving but thriving!  Proverbs also teaches us that the path of worldly wisdom leads to the grave.  Join us on Wednesday nights as we study “The Way of Wisdom”, looking at our walk with Christ, relationships and wisdom in our words, with video teaching by Jen Wilkin, Kelly Minter, and others.

7:00pm
Teachers:  Jerry Van Cleave, Toran Billups, Jon Dawson
Room:  WC114-WC115

New to Christianity? Maybe you just want a deeper understanding of what it means to be a Christian? If you would like another believer to come alongside of you and help you learn more about the Bible and Christianity in a one-on-one setting, let us know. We have trained people ready and willing to meet with you.

Service Opportunities

You may already be involved in a community group or would like to use your gifts to serve the church. We need you! Here are a couple areas that you can serve the church.

We are seeking dedicated disciple-makers in our Awana ministry with either preschool or elementary-aged kids. If you are interested in leading on Wednesday evenings, please fill out the KidsTown leader interest form on the sign-up section of the app.  There will be a leader’s meeting on August 23 for those that sign up to help.

WC 117: 7:00 PM
Do you love to sing? Are you looking for a way to connect in community and make some beautiful music?  Grace Church Choir is looking for singers of all ages and experience levels to lead worship on select Sundays this Fall.  We are also going to be preparing for our Christmas Musical.

Our Wednesday Night Volunteers are THE backbone of our mid-week student ministry programming! If you love God and you love helping teenagers understand and follow God, then this is probably the place for you on Wednesdays. Grace Student Ministry (GSM) meets throughout the school year on Wednesdays from 6:45-8:15pm. Every week looks a little different, but our volunteers arrive at 6:30 and can serve in a variety of capacities. Depending on the week you might be asked to connect with students as they arrive to create welcoming environments, prep/serve snacks & drinks, lead a prayer group or a discussion group, and help maintain positive group behavior. There are needs both with Jr. High and Sr. High students. Contact Pastor Jonathan or Pastor Andrew for more info or to volunteer. Talk to us in person or send us an email at gsm.gracehome@gmail.com
