Life Together in the Home
Someone built the homes we live in. They bought land, developed a layout, drew up plans, purchased materials, and got to work. Ground was cleared and a foundation laid. Tools were brought to the site and used for the build. Soon things took shape. Rooms were divided, drywall enclosed the inside, plumbing and paint made it livable and added character, and after a few months, a house stood where there was once not one. What we live in now was built by someone before. But there is a larger and more important truth at play. That truth is that our homes build us. The shaping influences that matter most, especially in our early years, are within the four walls of our homes. And this continues as we grow older. And this is all by God’s design. He is the creator of everything, including the family. And in this series we want to understand all the ways God uses our homes to build us into people who resemble Jesus.
